In winter it is particularly cosy here at the Pilsachhof. It is only 5 minutes to the Arriach-Klösterle chairlift serving the Gerlitzen ski area. In recent years they have invested a lot in the Arriach-Gerlitzen north downhill run, modernising snow machines and improving the slopes. The downhill run is a real insider tip with everything that a skier could possibly want.

Cross-country skiing and winter walking in snowy surroundings Carinthia’s sunniest mountain also has trails for cross-country skiing, Nordic walking or winter hiking in the beautiful countryside. Crystals sparkle, your breath condenses in the crisp fresh air, and the snow crunches under foot. Cosy little chalets for refreshments abound. 24 km of cleared footpaths are also to be found here. Beside the Arriach-Gerlitzen chairlift you will find a tracked cross-country ski trail parallel to the winter footpath. In summer it is turned into a Nordic walking path with fitness trail
